Bite Markets at North Harbour FAQs

Q: Are you open on Easter weekend?
A: Yes we are open on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. (Please note due to liquor licencing laws on Good Friday no alchol will be served.
Q: Is there an entry fee?
A: Yes, there is, for adults. It’s $3 entry per adult. Children 12 years old and under are free of charge.
Q: What are your opening hours?
A: Bite Markets at North Harbour will be open every Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Small dogs that can be carried are welcome at Bite Markets at North Harbour. Because of foot traffic and designated food areas, larger dogs (those unable to be carried) should really be left at home to guard your castle! Of course, assistance animals are always more than welcome.
Q: Can I bring a pram/stroller?
A: Yes, prams/strollers are very welcome at Bite Markets, as well as the little people they carry!
Q: Can I hire a pram/stroller?
A: Unfortunately, no, Bite Markets do not have prams/strollers for hire.
Q: Are there ATMs?
A: There are ATMs available inside Bite Markets at North Harbour, in the entry container and inside the market. Please note, only the ATMs in the market are wheelchair accessible.
Q: Are there water refill stations if I bring my own water bottle?
A: Yes, free water refill stations are available at the bars inside
Q: Is Bite Markets plastic free?
A: At Bite Markets at North Harbour, we are committed to using recyclable packaging to be as environmentally friendly as we possibly can be. Plus, we are working with various agencies to improve all the time, so if you have any fantastic ideas about how we can become even more environmentally sustainable, please let us know!
Q: Is there valet parking?
A: There is no valet parking, however there are more than 600 dedicated parking spaces.
Q: Is the parking free?
A: Yes, all 600+ parking spaces are free of charge.
Q: Is there pedestrian access from the existing North Harbour residential community to Bite Markets?
A: Not at this stage but we are investigating whether this could be done. At this time, it’s only a short two minute drive via Buckley Road, Coach Road East and Nolan Drive.
Q: Is there a dress code for Bite?
A: For your own safety, shoes are required at all times and we also request a minimum dress standard ie. please don’t arrive shirtless!
Q: Is there a coat check?
A: Unfortunately, there’s no coat check service at Bite Markets.
Q: Can I bring a sun umbrella?
A: Small umbrellas for personal use are a great idea – sun safety is a priority! Yes, they are allowed inside Bite Markets.
Q: Can I reserve a table?
A: Tables cannot be reserved in the general Bite market area, however there are two BITE LOUNGES available to book for your special events, gatherings and celebrations!
Q: Are there vegan options and gluten free options?
A: Yes, there are vegan and gluten free options as well as other special dietary dishes available from many of the Flavour Makers at Bite Markets at North Harbour.
Q: Is there alcohol available at Bite Markets?
A: Yes, there are bars inside Bite Markets at North Harbour selling alcoholic beverages to guests aged 18+.
Q: Where can I see a list of all the Flavour Makers?
A: You can find details about our Flavour Makers on the Bite Markets website.
Q: Is there much seating?
A: Yes, there is plenty of seating spread throughout Bite Markets, plus THE PADDOCK kids’ area is perfect for laying a blanket on the ground for the family to laze!
Q: Is Bite wheelchair friendly?
A: Yes, Bite Markets at North Harbour is on level ground and wheelchair friendly.
Q: Is there special needs parking?
A: There are 12 car parks for special needs immediately in front of the entrance.
Q: Can I get public transport to Bite Markets?
A: Morayfield train station is approximately 4km away from Bite Markets however there is not public transport available directly to the door. There are more than 600 parking space available for those who plan to drive, otherwise taxis and Uber are a great alternative if you wish to enjoy some drinks from one of the 4 bars inside Bite Markets! We are hoping local council will start a bus service in the future!
Q: What happens if it’s raining?
A: Bite Markets is a rain or sun markets however if there has been a consistent and heavy period of rain over a few days there is a chance we could be closed! If in doubt, please check out Facebook and Instagram for the latest weather updates and if there is has been an impact to our opening hours, we will post updates.
Q: Can I smoke anywhere inside Bite Markets?
A: Smoking is only permitted within the designated smoking area at Bite Markets.
