Homemade Ginger Beer

John & Paula aren’t afraid to declare their unique, traditional, naturally fermented Ginger Beer is the ‘Best in the World’.

Their family has been brewing this Ginger Beer, made with fresh local ginger, freshly squeezed lemon juice, spring water, & wild fruit yeast, in South East Queensland for nearly half a century. The recipe itself, however, goes back even further to Paula’s maternal grandmother who used to brew it for the workers on her farm in England. They perfected the recipe and now brew it on their property near Cooroy using ginger from Templeton’s in Eumundi, fresh lemon juice from Mundubbera and Queensland cane sugar. Their Ginger Beer contains no artificial anything, and only half the sugar of commercial drinks.
